I think that we need to address the .5 mile from the paved road first. My idea was to:
- petition the county first. Once turned down
- ask our state senator, Bobby Gonzales, for money to fix the road. If that fails then
- organize for a people-funded project.
Getting folks to do anything is always a problem.

I’ve heard your neighbor’s (Joseph) views before from others – [that] it’s salvageable with spot fixes. Most of the other roads (especially the east/west or up/down the mountain) are not.
I think the priority for fixing the roads is getting the money, not building the community.
