Change of Plans

Hello all,

Paul and Joe I met on the road this morning.

You probably have noticed the some piles of material at the bottom of the road. We got five loads of Red River road washout material delivered by Entact, but someone complained.

We’re not sure who it was, or even exactly what they were complaining about, but they complained directly to Entact and threatened litigation, so Entact promptly stopped the project. We were gonna get a few more loads, but not anymore.

What we’ve got down there is essentially $60 of material(~50 yds), with free delivery, and now we’ve got to get it moved around.

We’re looking to rent a skid steer to get the material that we’ve got onto the road. It needs a little sorting. There are big rocks in the material, not a lot, but a few big rocks. We’re gonna clean that up and put it in the biggest holes on the lower part.

We still have our money in the bank, about $2700, with another thousand pledged for sure. We will use the money that we have for quality material from MTC and to rent the machines and operators to get material, grade it(hopefully free from Granite), and roll it.

We’ll also be clearing the drainage and reinforcing the meager bar ditches on the side and making places for the water to collect away from the road.

Once we get everything done and ready and looking good we will bring a roller in to pack it all down and hopefully keep it in place over the winter.

That’s where we’re at. Right now we’re going to look into skid steer rentals. We’ll get back to you soon.

Keep an eye on the road.

Dan

(Entact contacted Joeseph to say they’ll talk to the complainer and expect to continue deliveries of road material.)
